Resul Ozdemir was born in October 1985 in Ankara, Turkey. He received his BSc degree in Chemistry from Ankara University in 2008. He obtained both his MSc and PhD degrees from Abdullah Gul University under the supervision of Prof. Hakan Usta in 2016 and 2021, respectively.There he focused on development of novel molecular and polymeric π-conjugated materials for next-generation optoelectronic devices. Resul then moved to Ghent University to work with Prof. Zeger Hens in the Department of Chemistry as postdoctoral researcher. While at Ghent, he worked on using colloidal quantum dots as down converters for blue LED chips in lighting and display applications. Resul began as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Automation at Eskisehir Osmangazi University in October 2022.
